This semester, I had the opportunity to teach Applied Study Strategies for the first time, and it made me rethink what “study skills” really means. The course brings together practical tools, study strategies, academic support, and academic counseling, but what stood out to me most is the mindset behind it. A good strategy is not always the one that looks perfect on paper. Sometimes, it is the one we are willing to test, question, adjust, and try again.
